Twieves is, essentially speaking, a very old comic; in fact, my first. It was started back in 2003, when I was 14 years old, and largely based upon the world of Neopets, an online virtual pet website.

I originally intended Twieves to be for submission to Neopets' online newspaper, the Neopian Times, but as time went by, I realized that the rules for submission were becoming more stringent, and what I wanted to do with the comic was broadening out, and I just didn't want to make my comic into a gag-comic thing anymore. In fact, I never wanted to make it into a gag strip kind of thing. It was supposed to be a serious kind of story, just in art form - and there was no room for that in the Neopian Times.

I put aside Twieves for over a year, drawing only a page or two whenever I felt like taking a break from my main webcomic, Catalyst. Then I came to realize that my old story was actually okay... that aside from some modifications I had to do, it actually wasn't bad. So I decided to put up a website for it, and to upload the first chapter of what I've drawn from 2003 - 2004.

I skipped chapter 2 when drawing, so I'm currently halfway through chapter 3, on paper. When I'm done with this one, I'll start on chapter 2, and upon completion of that, upload both chapters in a big chunk.

But that will be many years down the road. Twieves still remains a rather secondary comic. My main commitment is to Catalyst, so I very rarely draw pages for Twieves. But for now, if anyone reads this, enjoy the few pages that are posted up, and I hope to have more available soon.
